Geometric Balance (GeoBal) Assembly Process
The GeoBal Assembly Process adds blade distribution about the actual centerline of rotation of the engine core to the FPM Assembly Process. The GeoBal Assembly Process eliminates the need for static balancing and reduces trim activity at the Balance Station and Test Cell. Consequently, there is a significant improvement in turn time, cost savings and engine performance.
