APU Assembly Optimization Process (APU-AOP)

The APU Assembly Process is a straight, optimal build for all rotating components, shafts, bearings/seals and casings. The dynamic parts of the APU core share a common centerline of rotation with the actual centerline of the casing and bearing housing. Also included in the process is blade/weight distribution about the actual centerline of rotation of the APU core. Axiam's proprietary assembly procedures, tooling and software enable the shop to reduce total turn time and cost while improving APU quality and performance.
